Our SHAX system is able to harvest electricity from low subterranean temperatures - boasting a micro footprint, zero emissions system with unparalleled output at 80% capacity factor. We propose to utilize pre-existing and abandoned oil and gas wells for drilling and electricity procurement. Turning liabilities into assets for landowners with abandoned wells.
MIcrogrids
In many areas around the world there is access to mass amounts of volcanic/ground heat. It is these geographic zones that are in desperate need of stand alone off and on grid microgrid systems to protect from natural disasters. Our footprint to production ratio is unparalleled, able to generate 3MW from an approx 40’ shipping container. Our small compact systems generate mass amounts of power and require almost zero maintenance. Making them ideal for stand alone microgrid projects particularly in The BVI’s, where land scarcity and consistency are crucial factors to address. Elemental NRG SHAX system is addressing these needs.
Waste heat to power
The industrial waste heat to power market (WHP) is expected to reach $30 B by 2024. Many of these fossil fuel burning facilities need to find solutions to to take part in a greener economy, as demand for consumer products continues to rise. Elemental NRG is uniquely positioned to address this market with our SHAX system - our systems propose to be retrofitted to industrial waste heat facilities to convert waste heat to clean electricity. This green electricity can be used for their operations to mitigate the use of fossil fuels or converted to Renewable Energy Credits.
